Meet Shiloh

Shiloh is a lovely 2 year old Mastiff mix who came to us after being dumped in a shelter in South Georgia. She is a very petite girl who probably won't ever weigh more than 70lbs, but she's got a huge heart and lots of love to give.

Ms. Shiloh is a certified snuggle monster who adores hanging out and cuddling with her people. She gets along great with her two dog foster brothers but hasn't had much exposure to cats or other animals.

Shiloh must have had a very bad life before coming to the Bullpen, because she is still very sensitive/fearful to tone and volume when being corrected. For this reason, we think Shiloh would do best in a quieter home with no or older children.

Shiloh is very easy going: she is housebroken, crate-trained, good on a leash, and she doesn't even mind getting a bath! She is current on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and has started heartworm treatment, which she will need to continue with her forever family.

We highly recommend that our potential adopters fill out an online application as soon as possible, as it greatly expedites the process of finding the right dog for your situation. The adoption app is available on our website (www.bullpenrescue.org) under the 'work with us' tab. If you choose not to fill out an application before inquiring about a particular dog, please briefly tell us about yourself, family, and lifestyle since this will help us determine if the dog you’re interested in is a good match.

Our dogs are available for adoption nationwide but preference is given to adopters willing to do an in-person meeting. Please understand that our dogs are not adopted on a first-come, first-serve basis, but rather we strive for a “perfect placement” so we know that they will not be failed again.
