Jeff Australian Shepherd Portland, OR

Jeff is an extremely sweet 8ish year old red Aussie mix. He is getting along very well with an older male and female dog in foster care.

Jeff wants affection and wants to be close to you. He is looking for a best human friend. He is quiet and calm and has mastered puppy dog eyes. He is housebroken, knows sit, down, and has figured out the dog door. He's working on not jumping up on people for affection and treats.

He would love to go on walks and has pretty good leash manners. Some work on pulling might help Jeff. In the house he likes to let the mailman know he's not welcome, but otherwise barks and vocalizes very little. He weighs about 50 pounds. Right now, his coat is a little sunburned and rough but we are working on that with quality dog food and some grooming. He is up to date on his vaccinations, is on monthly heartworm and flea and tick preventative and neutered. Jeff is fostered in Portland.
