Shelby Lou Black Labrador Retriever & Bloodhound Mix Joliet, IL

Meet our precious angel, Shelby Lou! Shelby was an owner surrender from OK. Unfortunately owners moved, and they couldn’t bring her with them. Shelby loves everyone from people (including kids) to the furry kind. Side note, Shelby lived with other dogs. To set our girl up for success, we are looking for an adopter with a fenced in yard so Shelby has room to play.

Shelby’s adoption fee is $300 which includes her spay, microchip, fecal check and shots up to date. Shelby weighs 90lbs. Additionally, our girl had her DNA tested and she is a true Lab & Bloodhound mix.

Please note:
All dogs require a $100 training deposit. Once confirmation of the completion of a training class has been sent to the rescue, you will receive your deposit back in full.

As we are a rescue all of our adult dogs/puppies for adoption must be spayed or neutered. Although we make every attempt to have this done before finding their adoptive families, this is not always possible. Please speak with your adoption coordinator to see of this service has already been performed or they will explain to you if your new dog/puppy will need this service while in your care at no cost to you.

When emailing please include your phone number to help speed up the adoption process. Also, for the safety of our dogs we only adopt within a 2 hour radius of Joliet, Illinois to allow our volunteers to do home checks if necessary.
