Meet Shelby and Max
Shelby and Max are an adorable duo really hoping to find a home together. At 11 and 12 years old, this senior pair was very spoiled and loved in their last home. Ideally, their new home will be home a lot to give them the human companionship they crave.
Shelby, the short haired dog, is a bit on the feisty side. She loves her pal Max but does not care for other dogs. Their new home should be pet free, except for them! They have also never been around children and Shelby can startle easily. We think an adult only home is the perfect fit.
Max is a love. A little yippy with strangers, he warms up so fast.
They previously slept in their human's bed and we suspect this will be a hard habit to break. We hope their new home is up for snuggle buddies.
Despite their age, both pups enjoy walks outside. They are always up for a game of fetch!
Being seniors, their teeth may need some attention in the future. Right now, their overall health is great.
We know it can be a tall order to find a home willing to accept two seniors. We hope to find a person up for giving Max and Shelby the best senior years they could have.
Adoptions are by appointment only. For more information on this pet email adopt@scituateanimalshelter.org
All dogs are fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, flea treated and heartworm/lyme tested before adoption. Adoption fees are $360 for a dog, $460 for a puppy, and $250 for a dog with special needs or senior over 10 years old.
