Shelby Shepherd Mix Westfield, NY

Shelby arrived at NCCR on 1/16/21, pulled from another shelter that ran out of room for her. She is an approximately 2 year old spayed female, thought to be an Australian Cattle Dog/Retreiver mix, with probably some other breeds in the mix, too. Shelby is quite friendly and loves people. She may get along with some other dogs, but it seems to depend on the other dog’s behavior and personality. Cats and small children are unknown to her. Shelby may be house trained, as she usually keeps a clean kennel, but she may need some brushing up in her new home. She can sometimes be vocal when left alone in her kennel, although she has never been destructive with her bed or toys and generally has good manners.

Shelby is spayed, vaccinated (including bordetella) and microchipped. Her adoption fee is $215.00. (cash or check only, we are unable to accept credit cards)

We do adopt out of state, however we do not transport or ship dogs. Potential adopter must be able and willing to travel to the Rescue to meet the dog they are interested in.
