SNEAK PEEK! Shayne! Shayne is a female Siberian Husky. She weighs around 55 lbs and she is just under 1 year. Her favorite thing...hanging (playing) with her people and being outside.

She needs a home with experienced husky folks and a secure backyard so she can play. Shayne is being fostered near the Portland area.

Shayne’s story is one we hear many times. Her original home bought her from a local breeder. Huskies make adorable puppies (well they all are). It didn’t take long before she overwhelmed her household. She has been in a husky foster home and has done very well picking up what is expected of her!

Her foster home has found the following about Shayne!
Outgoing and fun girl
Does well with the other dogs in the home (can be a bit much for the old ones until she learns)
High energy (some of which is probably puppy energy)
Comes when called
Sits when asked
Is crate trained
She can pull on a leash when excited so a front clip harness works best
She will “husky talk”

She is knows sit, wait, come. She is housebroken but she needs to be reminded to go outside. She can be a bit much for senior dogs who are no longer playful.

Shayne is a sweet girl who is still growing out of the last bit of the puppy months. She will be one year old in April. She thrives when you work with her and understand her and she understands what is expected from her.

She can be a loud husky so no apartments or condos. She is super smart so a husky knowledgable family would be best. She loves people and does well with dogs! She is a bouncy dog that would do best in a home with no children and no cats (she thinks everything running is a game for her).

Shayne is up to date on her vaccines, spayed, had flea treatment, is dewormed, heartworm tested and is microchipped. Her adoption fee is $400.
