Meet Shay JuM

Shay JuM

I was only a few steps away from kicking the pawverbial bucket. I wonder if that bucket was a 10 piece from KFC, nuggets of course, no bones, I have enuff bones to last a lifetime. Even though I am litterally fur draped over bones right now, you still can gaze at the muttjestic nature of my structure. You’ll be drawn in by my wolf like features, but you will stay for the domestic dog love.

I am an affecfurnate and sweet female 3 year old Husky mix. I was surrendered to the City of San Antonio shelter weighing only 35 pounds, when I should weigh in the 50’s. The Rescue Ladies started me on several small meals a day, starting with Freshpet food, it’s a food log made for dogs, but tastes so good even a human could eat it. I am also getting furreal human chicken mixed with furreal human rice.

I guess you could say I am a lil like the milk left out on the table for 3 days. Spoiled! Finally getting to eat! The volunteer was shocked that I was not as talkative as she would expect a Husky mix to be, but I prefur to let my eyes do the talking like a silent film star from the olden days. *bats her eyelashes a few times*

The rescue ladies cannot wait to see my total transfurmation from scrawn to brawny. I am terrific around all the dogs, big and small. I am so appreciate of my soft bed. I have more love than you could ever imagine and I am always ready to say hello to a new person. AND always hopeful that the person is attached to a bowl of shredded chicken, bock bock.

On top of the several small meals a day, I am consistently conning the volunteers out of as many hot dog bites as they are willing to dole out. These big brown peepers are kinda hard to say no to, right? The volunteers can’t quite gauge my activity level yet because I am still too skinny to run around too much, but I am counting on a home with LOTS of love and chicken and one that will indeed keep me in the family for the rest of my life.

GOD'S DOGS Rescue, in San Antonio TX, does not have a shelter - Our dogs are raised in foster homes in the San Antonio area. ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE Local ADOPTION FEE OF $200.00 for ADULTS. (Local is in the state of Texas). Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption.

IF THIS IS AN OUT OF STATE ADOPTION, TRANSPORT TO YOU is included in the adoption fee of $400.00 for ADULTS. We transport all over the country!!

Our dogs are socialized, and we try to provide you a good understanding of the dog’s personality.
