Sharon Beagle & Mountain Cur Mix Sparta, NJ

These pictures do not do justice to see how beautiful and what a sweet soul Sharon is! Sharon was one of several dogs seized from a hoarder. Unfortunately she was pregnant and gave birth to 9 puppies. Sharon has been a good Mom and her babies are now weaned. Dad Ozzie & her babies (Jack, Kelly & Louis) will be available at a later date. In the meantime, Sharon's mommying days are over and she has been spayed. Her temporary foster said Sharon is a bit shy but a real snugglebug and she loves attention and once you start petting you’re not allowed to stop for the rest of your life, according to Sharon! She is also scared to go outside to potty alone, but she is fully house trained. They stopped crating her during the day and at night after the first night because they realized they could trust her. They fell in love with her and wished they could have kept her however they already had a couple of dogs of their own so now some other lucky family will get the opportunity to adopt a gem of a dog. Sharon is good with other dogs and does not mind cats. Sharon is thought to be a Beagle/Mountain Cur mix and for some reason has a docked tail. She is about 3 years old and 32 pounds. Please help Sharon find the loving home she deserves.

Update: Sharon tested positive for 2 common tick borne diseases, Lyme & Ehrlichiosis. Sharon has already completed her antibiotic treatment and is feeling great and ready to go home!

We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821).

Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.

Sharon's adoption fee is $425. This covers all their age-appropriate shots, spay/neuter, microchipping and vetting.

**If you are coming to an adoption event to see a certain dog/cat, please email ahead of time to make sure that dog/cat will be there that day. Please email 1-2 days before the event, as some animals are placed during the week and our list is constantly changing.
