Meet Sharon
Say hello to Sharon, a delightful 65-pound Amstaff mix who has mastered the art of balancing chill vibes with playful antics. At a year and a half old, Sharon has settled nicely into her role as everyone's favorite family member, boasting a personality that's as goofy as it is endearing.
Sharon's idea of a perfect day includes anything that lets her hang out with her human and canine pals. Whether it's a casual stroll around the block or a lazy afternoon on the couch, she's all in. With a moderate energy level, she's the ideal companion for those who enjoy the best of both worlds—activity and relaxation.
Outgoing and sociable, Sharon makes friends wherever she goes. She's a hit with children and adults alike, showering everyone with affection and a wagging tail that doesn't stop. Her interactions are gentle and loving, making her a fantastic choice for families, especially those with kids. And while she's living happily with a crew of canine siblings ranging from tiny Chihuahuas to larger cattle dog mixes, she's respectful and playful without being overbearing.
Despite her easygoing nature, Sharon does have a couple of quirks—she’s not quite a pro on the leash and tends to pull a bit during walks. She also experiences mild separation anxiety if crated within view of her people, but don't worry, she's not one to turn your absence into a demolition derby. She's house-trained, crate-trained, and has impeccable manners indoors, never having been known to destroy or dig.
One unique aspect of Sharon is her deafness, which hasn't slowed her down in the slightest. She’s responsive to hand signals, particularly the "sit" command, and has an incredible ability to stay attuned to her surroundings and the people in her life. Her deafness is just a part of her charm, adding to her unique character without impacting her ability to be the perfect pet.
Sharon is looking for a home that appreciates a dog who is as content keeping things low-key as she is joining in on mild adventures. She’s perfect for first-time dog owners or experienced pet lovers looking to add a laid-back and loving member to their family. If you’re seeking a furry companion who embodies the spirit of companionship and calm, Sharon might just be your dream come true. Ready to meet the most relaxed, affectionate unicorn of the dog world? Sharon is waiting to make your acquaintance and steal a permanent spot on your sofa (and in your heart)!
