Meet Shakira
Shakira is a sweet and friendly, gentle girl who looks like a pocket Pittie and is around 40lbs. She was found stray and landed in a high kill shelter and we spotted her and couldn’t wait to welcome this deserving and grateful girl into rescue.
Shakira’s bio:
-friendly, mix of playful and spunky, but mellow too
-smart girl
-great with other dogs in her foster home, both big and small
-enjoys to be around people once, very sweet energy
-working on potty and leash training and is doing well
-does well in the crate in her fosters routine
-enjoys treats, toys & chew bones
-enjoys lounging in the yard and on her dog bed as well as playtime in the yard and laying in the sun
-will make an excellent companion and walking or hiking buddy to a lucky family
-does well so far on car rides to her vet appointments
-is up to date on vaccines, spayed, dewormed, is on flea and tick preventatives, and microchipped
