Give him a herding ball and he’ll show off his impressive athleticism — he plays hard and loves even harder.<br/><br/>What truly sets Shadow apart, though, is his heart. He bonds deeply with his people and is endlessly affectionate once he trusts you. He’ll follow you from room to room, lay nearby as you work, and gaze up with that loyal, soulful look that says you’re my person. Because Shadow connects so strongly with his humans he thrives best as the only dog in the home, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves.<br/><br/>But that isn't to say Shadow doesn't like to play with other dogs, although he is discriminating about which ones are deserving of his playful nature. He also has lived with cats in a previous home so a dog-savvy cat would probably be an okay companion for him.<br/><br/>Shadow is fully house-trained, a perfect gentleman indoors, and can be trusted to roam the house freely.
