Shadow Mixed Breed Madison, WI

Meet Shadow! He is ~4-5 years old and is only 17lbs under all that luxurious fluff! Shadow had a rough transition to Wisconsin, and was pretty stressed out from the long travel, but now settled into his foster home, he’s feeling good and much happier!

He is great with the cat in his foster home, but nervous around the high-energy dog. He seems to prefer calmer companions, and while he loves kids, the younger ones make him a bit nervous. He would love a home with calmer animal and humans to spend his life with!
He is potty-trained and sleeps quietly in his crate at night. He is looking for a home where he will have someone to rub his belly, give him lots of love, and give him the time he needs to adjust. Now that he is feeling more secure, he is a total love bug. He would really like tv or book reading buddy, he is fairly low energy.
He would REALLY love a fenced in yard so he doesn’t have to go out on a leash because he really doesn’t like people reaching for his neck. When he loves, he loves hard.

Dogs from Underdog Pet Rescue come with the following medical care already provided:
Spay/Neuter
Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella Vaccinations (as age appropriate-puppy adopters may need to cover some vaccine boosters)
Heartworm Test (for dogs over 6mo)
Microchip
Deworming
Heartworm and Flea/Tick Preventative
Any other necessary medical treatment as recommended by veterinarian

Our adult dog adoption fee is $300. Our puppy (under 5 mo) is $375. Our senior dog (over 8 yrs) is $250.
