Meet Shadow
Shadow is about 4 years old and comes to us from the lovely humans at Lee's Summit Animal Shelter where he was picked up as a stray.
Poor Shadow's skin and coat were a mess from his time out in the elements. Since coming into foster care, he's learned that baths are no longer things to be scared of -- and all of those medicated baths and TLC are paying off! His coat is growing in, shiny and thick. With that one slightly flopped ear and his charming disposition, Shadow is becoming quite the dashing gentleman!
While in foster, Shadow has gone from "afraid of his own shadow" (pun intended) to happy, loving, and more relaxed. And he absolutely adores his foster family's little humans. He's just a big sweetie who wants to be right where you are!
His foster humans report that he's gone from "zero recall" skills to "100% recall with great enthusiasm." Like we said ... he wants to be where you are! This boy will likely bond hard to his forever humans, and we predict will be their constant companion.
If you think Shadow may be your new best friend, please apply to adopt!
