Hi my name is Seth! I’m 7 years old and weigh about 65 lbs.

I’m a sweet guy looking for a comfy couch, bed, or dog bed to rest my paws on. BUT, I can also be an active guy too. I love walks and nature hikes. The volunteers think I do my best walking using an Easy Walk harness. I can be pretty mouthy so I will need to learn redirection with toys. I ride well in the car....especially when the volunteers take me for an ice cream run. I’m also in love with peanut butter! I get along fine with almost all other dogs, but not cats. I’m not much of a barker, if you like the “quiet type.” I’m still working on housetraining. I'm not a guy that can do stairs very often due to my joints in my legs being stiff/old. In fact, I'd need to be on some yummy supplements added to my high quality food, such as Nupro or Endure (which would be approximately $75 a month). I will need a home with a back yard or a family that can take me on long walk daily!

Adoption Donations are $250 for an adult, $350 for puppies (a dog under one year of age), and $125 for a senior dog (based on the age of the dog). Adoption donations are to be made via cash, and credit/debit card. There is a $5 fee to run cards.

Please remember to bring a collar and leash (non-retractable) with you the day of the adoption. Note: Martingale collars and slip leads are strongly recommended.

Due to COVID19, we aren't having as many open, public adoption events. Current schedule is pre-determined meet and greet appointments are Wednesday evenings and on Saturday from 12-2. On Saturday's from 2-4pm, the events are open to the public.
Our adoption center is located at 3602 Lafayette Blvd, Suite 102, Fredericksburg, VA 22408. It's important that you keep an eye on your emails for any changes or updates during the adoption process.
