Serrano German Shepherd Dog & Retriever Mix Seattle, WA

Hi, my name is Serrano! I was born February 16, 2024. My people think I may be a shepherd/lab/kelpie mix. I came into rescue after my mom was found homeless and pregnant. My current foster took her in and she gave birth a couple days later to eight beautiful puppies. Six girls and two boys. My brothers Poblano and Anaheim were way outnumbered here. We are affectionately referred to as the pepper litter. My mom isn’t a big girl. She only weighs 39 pounds and looks like she may be a retriever mix. Our people have no clue who our Dad may be.

We remained with our mom up until about a month ago. She taught us how to be good puppies. She is a very sweet natured girl and has already been adopted. We must take after her because that is exactly the way our foster family would describe us. Sweet and good natured.

When our humans pick us up our tails never stop wagging and we love to give puppy kisses. We love to sit in laps and take naps and gaze at the stars at night. Our people say we are pretty calm, easy going pups. We have been handled quite a bit and are use to all the human contact. We are now old enough to “fly the coop” as you will. So here I am on Petfinder looking for a new home.

I have never been cat tested, but I am just a puppy. If I grow up with a cat we would be best friends.

I do great with other dogs. Maybe my new home will have other dogs for me to play with. After all, it’s all about the playtime. I would love to be with an active family. I was made for hiking!

I have never been around children so it would be important you keep me safe from them…not the other way around. I’m just a tiny puppy.

I am working on my house training and crate training and it’s coming right along.

I am a healthy pup and if you are looking for a new fur baby, I may be the one.

I have been to the vet three times and am up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped.
