Sera Terrier Mix Fairfax, VA

Sera is a 6 month old Terrier mix puppy (estimated) that came into the kill shelter as a stray puppy. She was rescued just before she was about to be euthanized by our rescuer in Korea, and they moved her immediately to a foster home, so that she can be properly vetted and be fed properly.

We were told that Sera fortunately is a very friendly and loving dog, and play well with other dogs and people. She has a quiet personality, and plays well with her toys in the house, but when she meets her other doggy friends, she is playful as well. She is a smart, polite, and to seems to be very mature for her age. We did notice that she is on the skinny side, and she would need to put on some weight by proper nutrition and exercise. The daily walking exercise will not only help Sera to gain muscles, but will also provide a precious bond building time between the adoptive family and Sera! We would love to find her a family who will surround her with lots of love she can count on having the rest of her life. Sera has been spayed, microchipped, fully vaccinated, and she is ready for the forever home!

We believe people who adopt rescue animals because they are willing to accept a bit of imperfection, and willing to embrace, work/ train and love them no matter what baggage the animal had in the past. It can be challenging, but extremely rewarding. We have seen an amazing transformation in our adopted dogs, and it is our goal to provide all of them with the same opportunity. We are at our happiest when we see photos of our adopted animals smile with their new adoptive family, and we hope to find Sera a loving family who would do the same.

You can MEET our adoptable dog(s) upon request after your application is reviewed. Due to Covid-19, our adoption process is no longer what they used to be, and we have to find alternative ways to arrange for you to meet our dogs. Please be patient with us!

*NOTE* We have a 30-mile radius limit from Fairfax, VA for adoption. We require a completed application & home check via Zoom or by photographs to finalize adoption. An adoption fee of $650 applies. All dogs are spay/neutered and have all shots prior to adoption. Thank you!
