Meet Sebastian!! Sebastian is a 3-year-old Jack Russell terrier mix. Poor Sebastian had a truly rough start at life. He was found by the side of the road, hit by a car, paralyzed and left to die. He was taken in by animal control when he was sent off to SNARR NORTHEAST animal rescue. Sebastian had very extensive spinal surgery to repair his broken spine.

Although he has some movement and deep pain sensation, he never regained full mobility. Sebastian is one of a kind. Once he finds his person he becomes dazzled by them. The way he looks at you is like you’re his everything. It takes him a bit of time to trust, and he will be the one to decide who his forever person is. If he trusts you, you are gold to him. Sebastian would do best in a home with no cats because at times he does chase them. He is energetic. Loves loves going for speedy walks in his cart, otherwise, you will find him scooting his way around the house to follow your every move. He can be picky and fear reactive with some, so a home with small children is not ideal. He likes other dogs but prefers his people. He is He is happy just to have you scratch his belly all day long. He loves to bounce around and has lots of playfulness in him too!

People in Sebastian’s past were not nice to him. He deserves to be pampered, and he, if he trusts you, will look at you like your eyes have diamonds in them.
Sebastian is special needs, he is not continent so he wears a belly band. Someone who has kindness and patience in their heart who has a sense of humor and doesn’t mind a little extra care would be perfect. Is that you?
