Good with dogs: Scully is selective, she displays reactivity with unfamiliar dogs in uncontrolled environments. Proper, slow introductions are a must, but Scully has had extensive professional training & lived peacefully with another dog with the right support!
Good with cats: No, Scully has a high prey drive!
Good with kids: Yes, but she will do best in a home with older kids 12+ that will respect her boundaries!
House trained: Yes, she will just need to adjust to your routine!
Crate trained: Yes!

Meet Scully!

Scully is a 53-pound lab mix who has been with her current family for 4 of her approximately 6 years of life & is being rehomed due to a change in her family’s circumstances. Her family says she has really blossomed since they rescued her with the support of a respectful home environment, a daily Prozac prescription, and professional training! Scully will need a family who will continue to lovingly support her by respecting her physical space, providing a safe sleeping spot, and accommodating her need to eat alone and in a secure place.

Scully is very active and loves long walks, hikes, and playing with her people. She LOVES people. She has never met a stranger and loves affection. Scully is eager to please and knows lots of commands: sit, lay down, stay, sit pretty, through (going through your legs), and touch!

The adoption fee is $150.

All of our animals are fully vetted before going to their fur-ever homes. They are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, dewormed, up to date on flea/tick prevention, heartworm prevention, and microchipped!

Please Note: All animals are posted until they are officially adopted. This animal may have other interested adopters in line.

We are very quick to respond and process applications! You will be required to provide 2 non-family personal references, a home video tour, and a vet reference if you’ve previously had animals. Please feel free to send a video to our email or Facebook upon submitting an application; this lets us know you are serious and ready but also helps us to get you approved quickly. We will text and or call upon receiving your application to schedule a phone interview.

You must be an approved adopter to go on meet and greets. This saves everyone’s time- especially our gracious foster families! This also allows for you to take the animals home from the meet and greet if you so choose.
