Meet Scruffy

Scruffy came in as a stray. He is an older guy ~9 years old. He is house broke and does well with dogs/cats. He is stressed out in this environment here and needs a quieter place to enjoy his senior years. He craves to be with his people and will bark/screech when returned to his kennel. He was returned on 9/25 due to them working 12-hour shifts. He does great in the house, doesn't get on furniture unless asked, and does great being in the house alone. He isn't really interested in toys or anything other than attention from people.

Scruffy likely has Cushings disease, we have had bloodwork and urine tested to rule out everything without spending the $800 for official diagnosis. This can be managed with medication or just limit his water intake, so he isn't waking you up every hour on the hour to go outside to go potty. Would easily be managed with a doggy door and fenced in yard.
