Meet SCRAPPY !

He is a 2 year old, 54-pound white and brindle healthy pit bull/lab blend that entered shelter in mid-May because the landlord said that he could no longer stay with his family. He is an attentive, fun boy who can get excited when playing but responds very well to simple corrections.

SCRAPPY is an energetic boy who has a good start on his training and manners. He is learning some basic commands including sit and down.

SCRAPPY still shows some nervousness in the kennel setting, especially when dogs are barking at him, but when he meets dogs on leash, he has not shown any type of negative reaction.

Because of a bite incident at the park when he got too excited with family and friends, SCRAPPY has been labeled “potentially dangerous” pursuant to Spokane County Code, so adopters would have some conditions to adhere to like keeping dog on leash with a person 15 years or older, microchip, and neuter.
