Scout's Story
If you are a Heeler fan, Scout is your boy! The vet estimates that he is about 2 years old.
Scout is HW negative, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations and preventions.

We were fortunate enough to foster Scout and soon learned that he is a super-smart boy! He responded to commands such as "sit," "fetch," "drop it," etc., within the first 2-3 days that he was with us and, we are FAR from experienced trainers! Since Scout proved to be such a fast learner, we realized that he was capable of far more than we could accomplish with him so we decided that he was an excellent candidate for professional training- and, he absolutely was!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I would also like to add a few personal experiences since we fostered Scout in our home for a few weeks prior to his "boarding school" education. He is a typical Heeler- meaning Heelers are very intelligent and love to work so Scout would really enjoy having a job. He is loyal, obedient, and very loving. Scout loves car rides and he really loves being outside. He got along well with our dogs (four female dogs). Scout was not a fan of our two indoor cats. The only reason we did not adopt Scout is that three of our four dogs are elderly and are currently experiencing quite a few health issues- we spend lots of time at various vet appointments. Scout is a young, energetic, and, intelligent boy and he deserves a full and active life that we, unfortunately, cannot currently offer him.
We would LOVE for Scout to be in a home now. Please adopt Scout so he can be a part of a loving family!!!
Apply here: https://forms.zohopublic.com/nhrescueinc/form/ApplicationForm/formperma/mvnbaiv4DZWR4D4i_DNWqwFWqFU5ozOxvCdwps5a_BY
