After 5 years with his adoptive family Scout was returned to us due to a divorce. Now, at 9 years of age, he is homeless again. I remember Scout as a bright eyed, energetic shiny coated boy at four jumping on a trampoline when he first came to us<br/>Those days are gone. Scout is now an old man and winter is showing in his eyes. His heart is broken and our hearts are broken with him.<br/>The redeeming fact is that Scout is still the loving and gentle soul that he always was. He'd like to spend the rest of his life with a kind, committed family, a warm fire and, who knows maybe a trampoline this summer.
