Meet Scout
Meet Scout! If your family lives in the Lowell/Saranac/Ada/Alto area and is looking for a dog that has the athleticism and drive for advanced training and/or agility work, AND will certainly protect your family, Scout is the boy for you!
Scout is a 4yo Border Collie mix and is on the lower end of a medium sized dog at just 35lbs. He is so much fun, so smart, and a wonderful family companion. His biggest flaw is that he wants to protect his family and home from strangers; Scout will bark and nip the heels of strangers that approach or enter the home so he will need training in this area and diligent owners that keep this tendency in check.
*Note: once people (especially men) have been properly introduced into the home, Scout is fine and calms down, but the initial entry needs to be closely monitored.
**Note: OLDER, respectful children 12yo+ are okay
Away from his home Scout is very social and loves to play with other dogs and get affection from people! He is currently being fostered by the owner of the doggy-daycare he’s attended for several years, so his foster has an in-depth knowledge of Scout and his personality and overall can’t say enough positive things about him. He is sweet, hilarious, and SO so smart.

Scout's adoption fee is $285.00 payable in cash, debit/credit or Venmo
