Meet Scott
Hi, my name is Scott! I'm a PURPLE paw print, here is what would work best for me in my new home:
-Personality: Playful, ENERGETIC, silly, cuddly
-Can Live with Kids: Kids 13+ and DOG SAVVY, Scott was sensitive to noisy and emotional outbursts in his previous home. Up to counselor's discretion.
-Can Live with Cats: No thanks, I have a prey drive!
-Can Live with Dogs: Scott would do best as the only dog in the home. He could possibly live with a well socialized dog who enjoys rowdy playtime. Introductions would be scheduled to ensure everyone gets along. No small dogs.
-Can do Apartment Living: Not recommended due to size and energy levels
-Potty Trained: Yes
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Not required, but may be beneficial to continue his training!
-Energy Level: High! Scott will need lots of exercise, playtime and mental stimulation!
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope, Scott is good to go.
Additional information:
Scott is high energy husky guy who is looking for a forever adventure buddy. He is very people oriented and enjoys going on long walks where he gets to meet new people. Unfortunately Scott has bounced around from household to household in the last year due to just not finding the right fit. He would do best as the only animal in the home but would love to have dog friends to visit during his walks. Scott does have a congenital deformity in his back left leg that causes him to walk a little "wonky", but our vet has determined there's no need for surgery. If you would like to meet/adopt Scott, the first step is submitting an adoption application. Our staff will then review your application to ensure it's a good match!
