Hey there, I’m Scooby!

But you can call me Scoobs, Scoobaloo, Scooby-Do, whatever makes you smile. I'm about 4 to 4.5 years old, a solid 85-90 pounds of loyal, lanky love, and I’ve got my paws crossed that you're the one I've been waiting for.

Let me tell you a little about myself…

First of all, yes, I’m handsome. Like, really handsome. People say it all the time, and I’m not gonna argue. Just look at this face!

But I’m not just a pretty mug. I’m also incredibly loyal. If you’re having a good day? I’ll sit quietly beside you, tail thumping. If it’s a hard day? I’ll be right there too, lending a soft ear and silent support. You’ll never have to go through life alone again, with me, you’ve got a best friend for life.

Need to run errands? I’m your co-pilot! I love car rides.

Potty stuff? I’m house-trained like a champ. I’ll even gently paw at the door to let you know it’s time to go. No mess, no stress!

Exercise? I’m not a marathon runner. A nice long stroll with plenty of time to sniff the world is my favorite kind of outing. I don’t need much more than that, just some sunshine, a leash, and you.

Now, let’s talk toys. I love them. I can keep myself entertained for ages, pulling them out of the basket one by one like it’s the best game ever invented. You’ll be laughing, trust me.

I’m also super smart. I respond really well to gentle words and a calm tone, stuff like, “wait,” “I’m right here,” or “time to rest.” I don’t always know exactly what you mean, but that kind, preschool-teacher voice helps me feel calm and connected. I’ve been through a lot, and little things like that go a long way with me.

I take daily medication to help manage my anxiety, and I do best with a consistent routine and a strong, capable human who understands that sometimes I feel big feelings in a big body.

No cats for me, please, and I’d love a fenced yard to explore at my own pace.
