Meet Scooby *HERE IN NH*
Scooby is…..
Handsome!
Incredibly loyal- he will happily sit by your side anytime and listen to the happy or sad…he’s got you.
Tall-no need to bend over excessively to pet, groom, or dress this guy.
House trained- he will even politely paw at the door to let you know he needs to potty.
Excellent co-pilot- errand running days are much more enjoyable with Scoobs by your side. He will even wait in the car for you an appropriate amount of time (in appropriate weather) and watch intently for your return.
Not overly active- Scoobs doesn’t need a ton of exercise. A nice long leisurely sniffing stroll with a bestie is his favorite.
FUNNY- Scooby will keep you laughing with his ability to self entertain with a basket of toys, one right after the other!
Extremely bright- Scooby responds well to simple words and phrases like “wait, stop, sit, I’ll be right back, you’re ok, I’m right here, time to rest” whether he understands the meaning or not, he appreciates “preschool teacher talk” and it helps him feel safe and connected to his human.

Scooby is a 4-4.5 year old, 85-90 lbs. mixed breed dog. He has spent far too much of his life “homeless” and we are so excited for that to change!
His life of continued uncertainty has left him in a state of concern much of the time. He benefits from a predictable routine, medication (daily Prozac), a strong and able bodied human because when he does get overwhelmed by his big feelings, his large size makes this important.
Scooby is looking for a home without cats and would love a fenced yard to sniff around in and enjoy playtime!
