Meet Scooby - The Gatekeeper with a Gentle Soul
Scoobys’s favorite things
Fetching a ball and hanging out with his owner
Scooby was found patiently waiting a the security gate to a neighborhood where he is now being fostered. Day after day-week after week- as if he was hoping someone might return for him. For nearly a month, he stood guard, loyal to the family that never came back.
Now safe in foster care, Scooby is blossoming. He's about 7 years old, calm, gentle, loving, incredibly affectionate and great with other dogs. We are certain he was someones companion. He's house trained, well mannered and simply wants to belong.
Scooby enjoys quiet companionship, leisurely walks and sitting with his person. He's the kind of dog that brings pace into your home. And whiles he's past his puppy stage Scooby still has a spark ---he'll happily join you for a walk.
He's been fully vetted however, we just found out he has heartworm which is already being treated. We will finish the cost of his treatment and this wont delay him being adopted. We would love to be able to find a foster or foster to adopt for him by the end of May so he can finish his treatment in the states.
