Schwartz is a natural born entertainer, he loves learning new things and, with minimal treats, could learn anything from circus tricks to driving a truck. (Well, maybe, if it was an automatic transmission.)

Schwartz is a gentle, medium-sized brick house of a dog. His stocky frame is draped in the silkiest black fur, inviting pets and scritches he never wants to end. He might look like a guard dog, and sometimes sound like one, but he's really the most affectionate sweetheart. In fact, Schwartz regularly tries to roll up as small as he can get in a willing lap and pretend, he's still a puppy.

Schwartz has lived all nine years of his life on a small farm with his canine life partner, Canute, who is also up for adoption. While not aggressive, Schwartz would do well in a household with a smaller or more subdued dog – he'll want to be the boy in charge. He's also super friendly with cats, and people, young and old. Because he's bigger than he thinks he is, he can bump into legs with enough force to topple the unsuspecting. It's never actually happened, but the elderly should take extra caution when stepping over him.

If your lap and heart have room for a silky lover boy, please come meet Schwartz.

Full medical records and genetic breed testing results provided.
