I am so bubbly and playful and love to share my toys with others. People find it funny that my favorite treats are baby carrots, but I have been a health nut for all my life. I know what will keep me slim! Baby carrots also motivate me to do a few tricks for you if you so desire.
My favorite thing, paws down, is to snuggle and lay my head in your lap. I also love to watch Disney movies when my current owner is at work. I can recite Moana and Tangled verbatim if you understand dog, because I have seen those lots and lots of time.
I also adore going on walks. I may be excited at first, but a tug or two on my leash and I settle down. Obedience and training courses at PetSmart (how good is that?) have helped me to become even more loyal and well-behaved than I already was.
I am sorry to say that I have lost the majority of my hearing, so I require visual cues. But hey, there is nothing wrong with my eyesight so I do respond well when I can see your hand motions.
If there are small dogs or puppies around I will be a father figure and get along nicely, and play with them. I have grown up with my current owner's grandchildren and love their hugs and kisses. The more kisses, the happier I am.
For some reason I don't really get along with cats well (I would like to, but maybe something happened to me in a former life). But, as cats are usually the bosses of the house. I'll bet I could get used to being around one. I may even be a tad scared of them. .Of course if you don't have cats (a person of refined taste I see!), then you can just skip that last paragraph of drivel.
My current home has a doggy door so I can go in and out as needed, but if you are around a lot I can get along without one.
I am anxious to find my forever home and really hope someone out there would give me a change. Maybe you?
