Meet Saylor
Personality: Loyal, trustworthy, eager-to-please, shy, playful, easygoing, and quiet, smart, snuggler, affectionate, and goofy/funny.
Saylor is a cuddly, expressive, and enthusiastic pup whose favorite activity is anything that involves being outdoors. On walks, she especially enjoys all the new sniffs there are to take in! When she's not hanging outside, Saylor loves to curl up on the couch next to her fosters or entertain herself with a food puzzle or lick mat.
After a couple of fun zoomies around the backyard or a short training session, Saylor can often be found happily hanging out in her crate and will snooze peacefully if you need to leave her alone for a bit. She also hasn't had any recent accidents. Darling Saylor is great with the resident cats and puppy in her foster home and quickly earned their trust.
She is a smart doggie who has figured out the words "sit", "here," "come," and is learning the words "shake" and "stay". Saylor is eager-to-please and will do great with more training!

City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is a foster-based rescue in Washington, DC. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model).
Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us.
Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP, Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis.
Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.
