Saylor Australian Shepherd Mix Troy, IL
- Vaccinations up to date, spayed / neutered, special needs.
- Good in a home with
- Other dogs.
As a result of merle-to-merle (color pattern) breeding, Saylor was born deaf. Merle to merle breeding results in a 25% chance of being born deaf and/or blind or both. This beautiful girl doesn't know she's different and as a result, wants nothing more than a family that will treat her just as any other puppy. Saylor is currently mastering potty training and crate training. She is also working on leash training and basic commands (hand signals). These are all items her ideal family will want to continue working on with Saylor.
Saylor is a high-energy breed and her ideal family would have some knowledge of herding breeds and the exercise they require. Her ideal family should also have a visible fence and no children under the age of 10 years. Miss Saylor is up-to-date on all age appropriate vaccinations; spayed and microchipped. Her ideal family must provide monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks.
