PLEASE CONTACT THE SHELTER FOR A MEET & GREET. This slobbery squishy face is a total love! As an older gal she doesn't require much other than some TLC for her medical diagnosis. Savannah does have bladder cancer, she is being maintained with medication and doing well, heck since she arrived at LCAS she's gained almost 30 pounds! This lovely lady has been with her foster parents since the diagnosis, we assumed a hospice situation for a few months, but Savannah has proved us wrong. We are now looking for an adopter to take over her care, we will release all medical records for their vet to follow-up. We've been told it could be 3 months, could be 3 years. Her adopter and their veterinarian will need to continue her treatment and know when it is time to address the cancer's progress. Savannah loves to go for walks, good luck keeping up, like we said, she's doing great. She's a snuggle buddy and likes someone to spoon with on the floor. Medical maintenance and a place to crash during her retirement years is what she requires. Savannah is housetrained, good with people, enjoys the pool, likes chew toys and snacks, unknown behavior with cats, ok with calmer dogs, but does get vocal and will not tolerate being jumped on or rough play.
