Hi! My name is SAVANNAH. I am a spayed female, white and gray Boxer mix. The shelter staff think I am about 2 years and 1 month old. I have been at the shelter since Feb 22, 2021.

I LOVE TO: go for walks and relax with my favorite people!
I HAVE: a friendly, quiet personality. I am a little nervous around new people.
I GET ALONG WELL WITH:families with calmer kids, teenagers +
I WOULD RATHER NOT: be left alone for long periods of time. I love to be with people
I NEED: a family that is going to be patient and help me adjust to new my home
I AM: a very loving dog and would make a great companion for a family.

STARTING THE ADOPTION PROCESS:

Thank you for your interest in adopting an animal. To begin the process you will need to access & submit an adoption application.

You can access our adoption application at either PetProjectFoundation.org or on the City of San Clemente’s website, under the Animal Services option.
An adoption application can be submitted to the shelter, via Fax at (949) 366-4765, via email to Animalservices@scdpanimalshelter.org, or dropped off at the shelter in the drop box, located by our front door. The San Clemente – Dana Point Animal Shelter is located at 221 Avenida Fabricante in San Clemente.

The shelter is currently closed to walk-in public, due to the COVID-19 virus.

Staff are on site during our regular business hours (below), to address phone calls, offer shelter services by appointment only, as well as handle any/all animal control concerns.

Sunday – 12-3
