She requires a hospice home which will give this amazingly sweet girl the loving home she deserves for the time she has left, which is approximately one year as per the veteriarian.

Good in a home with: Other dogs, children.
Prefers a home without: Cats.

Savannah is a six year old, female, pittie mix rescued as a stray along with his pup, which has since been adopted. Savannah is a amazing girl that loves everyone. She was diagnosed with a terminal heart condition that requires daily medication. Smithtown Shelter is in search of a hospice foster home who will give her the love she deserves. They will pay for her medications and vet care, they just want to find her a home who will love her to the end. Right now she is asymptomatic but will require exercise restrictions, air conditioning and lots of kisses.
