Meet Saucy!

This beautiful and unique girl is thought to be a beagle/hound dog mix, and she is one saucy girl as her name suggests! She’s very intelligent, and craves attention and interaction. She loves to give kisses and loves to play with her toys. Her brindle and black markings are very unique and she has a very short and shiny coat. She is thought to be headed towards 50 to 60 pounds when full grown, and right now she weighs approximately 30 pounds at 17 weeks old. She is good with kids, other dogs, and cats if raised with them. This sweet girl will be a wonderful family member! Saucy is started on crate and leash training, and she has also been started on nail trimming and filing with a dremel tool. She is spayed and up-to-date on all of her vaccines, all she needs now is her forever family!

Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered.

Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.
