Hello Minnesota, my name’s Sassy! I am a spunky, smart, 1-year-old sweetheart on the lookout for my forever home.

I love having things to do and between brain puzzles, exercise, and playing with toys, I am living my best life! When I am all worn out, be ready for the best snuggles ever. Like ever. I also love learning new things! Currently, I am working on channeling my excitement from jumps to just wiggles and on socializing with other dogs. I would absolutely love it if my forever home enrolled me in some training classes. I hear that is a really great way to bond too!

I think it would be pretty awesome to have a fenced yard at my forever home because I have a great time running around and exploring. Oh, and because I like to "oof" sometimes when I hear a noise outside, you know like a leaf falling off of a tree two blocks over, I probably shouldn’t live in a home with shared walls.

I value honesty and want to share this with you too. For whatever reason, my bladder doesn't always listen to me. It's weird, I even ask nicely, but it does it's own thing sometimes. Thankfully, they have a medication that I have been taking and it has been helping out a lot!

TOYS. ARE. MY. FAVORITE. A close second would be playing fetch with my humans. I just learned that game since coming to Pet Haven and ooo-eee is it fun! Speaking of humans, they are super great, and my foster has been telling me about kid humans. I haven’t met any I don’t think, but I do think I would be okay in a home with dog-savvy kids.

So, that’s me! I am really excited to find an active forever home with human(s) who will love and care for me and let me play with so many toys!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
