Hello Minnesota, my name’s Sassy! I am a spunky, super smart, 10-month-old sweetheart on the lookout for my forever home.

I love having things to do and between brain puzzles, exercise, and playing with toys, I am living my best life! When I am all worn out, be ready for the best snuggles ever too.

There are some things that I am self-improving upon to be the best version of me that I can be, like I am working on not jumping up when I am excited and expanding my socialization skills. I would absolutely love it if my forever home enrolled me in some training classes. I hear that is a really great way to bond too!

An item that is super high on my wish list is a fenced yard at my forever home that I can run around in. Oh, and because I like to oof when I hear noises outside, you know to let anyone else know that something made a noise or a leaf fell off a tree three blocks over, I probably shouldn’t live in a home with shared walls.

TOYS. ARE. MY. FAVORITE. A close second would be playing fetch with my humans. I just learned that game since coming to Pet Haven and ooo-eee is it fun! Speaking of humans, they are super great, and my foster has been telling me about kid humans. I haven’t met any I don’t think, but I do think I would be okay in a home with dog-savvy kids.

I love learning new things. My foster has been teaching me new commands and tricks and I cannot wait to learn more in my forever home!

Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, heartworm/Lyme test, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and Bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, and microchip implant (including registration). Adoption fees INCLUDE a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.

Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown.

Due to post-adoption services provided, we prefer to adopt within a 90-mile radius of Minneapolis; however, we will consider up to 250 miles if the applicant is willing to drive to cities as needed.
