Sassy, otherwise known as Sassafras, Saskatoon, Sassanator, Sassparilla, she answers to them all. Sassy’s turn ons include, belly rubs, ear rubs, soft and chewy treats and binge watching Netflix. She likes to smile, smiling is her favorite. Turn offs are babies and toddlers, kisses on her head or face and toys. Sassy is a super chill dog that loves to relax. She loves to ride in the car and run errands but needs to learn a little more car etiquette. She’s a Georgia girl and has acclimated well to our cold and snowy weather. She is friendly with visitors as long as they are respectful and she will accept belly rubs from anyone and everyone, no seriously, she’s waiting, she’s literally on her back at your feet so you don’t even have to move !!

Sassadoodledoo is 5 years young, spayed and up to date on all shots, except the COVID vaccine, Cuomo is still on group 1B so it’ll be YEARS before he gets to her group, booo. She is semi-crate trained. What do I mean by semi ?? Well, she is ok being in the crate as long as someone is home. When the house is empty she tries desperately to escape, HOWEVER, she doesn’t need to be crated when you aren’t home because she won’t do anything but sleep while you’re gone. No tearing up shoes or digging in the trash, no wild parties, no raiding the refrigerator and NO BOYS !! Napping and occasionally getting up to stretch her legs.

She doesn’t have a lot of self-esteem and is very nervous around new dogs at first but does seem to open up and get comfortable after a while. She walks well on a leash and with a group of dogs as long as they meet her on her terms and when she feels comfortable. Sassy is a very loving, cuddly, chill dog and would benefit in a quiet home.
