Sassy Golden Retriever Mix Pacific, MO

Sassy is a young mix of golden, lab, mastiff and various other breeds, who was left at a shelter because her family could not afford her care. She had entropic eyes, which means her lower lids were turned inward causing constant irritation to her eyes. She has now had corrective surgery and complete vetting. She’s a friendly happy girl who needs a new family. She would do best in a home with older children. She is selective of the dog friends she has. We are unsure how she would do around cats. Sassy requires at least a 5 foot fence.

Sassy is under a year old. Her current weight is around 65 pounds. She will probably be close to 80 pounds when fully grown.

The minimum donation for Sassy is $500.00. This includes all of her vetting. If you are interested in Sassy, please fill out an online application through our website.

We are currently only open by appointment only. Due to the recent pandemic, we are looking at the safety of our volunteers that are there to take care of the dogs. Only serious inquiries will be considered.

Then meet her at the shelter during adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays 10 - 2pm. All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, a home visit will be done prior to adoption.
