Meet Sasha! She arrived on a Dog Is My Copilot flight from an overcrowded shelter in Texas. She is slowly coming out of her shell after a big and scary journey to Wyoming and we don't blame her for taking things slow! She loves other dogs and is becoming more comfortable with her foster mom each day. She is ready to meet potential adopters as long as they know that her transition into a new home might set her back just a bit as she adjusts again to a new home and new people. With how far she has come so far we know that she is going to be an incredibly little adventure dog once she is given the time and patience to feel safe!

Sasha is Heartworm positive and has started her treatment process since arriving here. Her treatment is sponsored by the AAC and whoever adopts her will be supported throughout that process!

To set up a meet and greet, please fill out a dog adoption application ASAP or if you have already submitted one with us, call/email to put your name in line. We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy. Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.
