Meet Sasha

Hi, my name is Sasha! Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Shy at first, energetic, playful, sweet, high energy!
-Can Live with Kids: Yes, respectful kids ages 10+ (up to counselor's discretion). I'm shy!
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history - will need proper introductions to ensure everyone gets along. I might be "too much" for any shy or senior kitties who prefer being left alone.
-Can Live with Dogs: Yes, I would benefit greatly from living with a social/puppy-tolerant dog who will socialize with me! Initial introductions will be done here at WHS to ensure it's a good match.
-Can do Apartment Living: Potentially yes, with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Keep in mind that I'm going to be a large, high energy dog.
-Potty Trained: Working on it!
-Bite History: No
-Positive Reward Based Obedience Classes Required: Yes, a six week puppy obedience course
-Energy Level: HIGH
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Yes, a spay/MC

Additional Information: Sasha is a shy but sweet puppy looking for her forever home! She came to us as a stray, so we unfortunately don't have much information regarding her past. She can be a little shy in new situations and with new people, but once you give her some treats and gentle affection, she's all yours. Sasha is a German Shepherd mix which means she's going to grow up to be a large HIGH ENERGY dog. Her perfect home is one with active owner(s) who plan to take her on lots of adventures (ie. hiking, running, swimming, biking, etc.)!

Puppies require lots of time/attention and cannot be left alone for long periods - this means that if you are gone 6+ hours a day, maybe it's not the right time to get a puppy. Sasha will need consistent training, socialization, attention, and love to help her build trust and grow into a well-rounded adult dog. If you'd like to meet Sasha, the first step is filling out an adoption application. Our staff will then review applications to ensure it's a good match before scheduling an introduction.
