Sarge Rottweiler Mix Onalaska, WI

Sarge is a big, red, goofy boy looking for an adventurous family who has plenty of time for him! He can't wait to find himself a big yard to run and play in and a human to explore the world with!

Since Sarge came to us as a stray, we are unsure if he is house trained. We highly recommend utilizing a crate for times when he is left unsupervised at least until his habits are better known. His new family should provide a consistent routine and give him time to adjust to his new surroundings.

We feel that Sarge would do well in a home with other dogs if given a proper introduction. He is a super friendly guy who seems to love everyone he meets so we think that he could live with children of any age under parental guidance. Please keep in mind that he is a big guy who isn't always aware of his size and can be bouncy so he may accidentally knock over small children.

This stunningly handsome man has so much potential to be the best family companion. He does need to work on his manners like jumping up on people and pulling on leash. He'll need an owner who can handle his strength and is prepared put in the time to train him and give him plenty of daily exercise. He promises to reward all you efforts with many, big, slobbery kisses!

Sarge is approximately 1 year old and weighs 66 pounds.
