Sarah (8YO) is a senior Newfoundland in need of a new family. In Sarah's ideal world, her family would require very little of her and allow for lots of nap time about the house.
The Perfect Home for Sarah...
Priority placement for Sarah will go to a family having no children, or having children aged 10+. These children should be big-dog savvy. She does fine on walks, but will need a home where the stair requirements are minimal. Additionally, floors should be carpeted, or well covered with no-slip rugs. Sarah does not currently live with another dog, but we believe she would do fine in a home with a dog who is laid back and not overly interested in engaging in playtime; she ignores the resident cat.
Due to Sarah's age, interested applicants are required to be within 2 hours of the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
Adoption fees vary depending on the dog, but range from $200-$600.
