Meet Sapphire

Meet Sapphire! Obviously she is named for her gorgeous eyes, and her personality is just as beautiful! She started her life off on the end of a chain, starving and giving birth to multiple litters of puppies. She was then pulled off the euthanasia list at our local animal control and landed here with us. She is safe now! Sapphire is good with other dogs and is definitely a lover. She has a moderate energy level, which means she is down for a hike or snuggling on a couch. We can kid test on request! She is not cat friendly, as she seems to want to chase but is easily redirected on the leash and walks decently well. Sapphire loves to chase tennis balls and is even down for a swim in the creek behind our building. This girl needs a home!
