Sandy's Story

Sandy is an incredibly special dog. This girl came into rescue extremely emaciated and neglected. She was shut down, and absolutely terrified of people. She endured so many tests to figure out what is causing her extreme emaciation. Through all of the vet visits and testing, sweet Sandy has maintained the best attitude. She has grown more and more comfortable and shows us how much love she has to give everyday. She's great with other dogs and adores kids. Sandy's test results were unfortunately inconclusive and we have decided to give her body a break from tests for a month and see how she bounces back. We are looking for a foster to adopt home for this sweet girl while we continue to work on her weigh.
