Samson Terrier Mentor, OH

Samson is a 5-7 year old terrier mix weighing about 14 pounds. He was found as a stray; matted and underweight. He is a good eater and has started gaining weight. He did have some medical issues which have been addressed. He has dry eye and has difficulty making tears. This has improved but may need to be on drops for the foreseeable future. He appears to have a bit of a hearing problem, but it is easy to get his attention. He has been neutered and is up to date on all of his vaccinations.

He is not completely potty trained but will go outside and will not do his business in the crate. He sleeps in the crate, but sometimes he gets very anxious but will eventually settle down. He is a little leery of other dogs but is not aggressive at all to them. He is not normally a barker but will let you know that he needs something by his groaning. He is learning to tackle stairs but prefers not to if he has a choice. He is starting to play with toys.

He has a sweet personality and wants to love but is scared to try. He just needs lots of love and patience.
