SAMPSON Labrador Retriever Mix Fairbanks, AK

04/26/23 These big goofy brothers are Sampson and Finley! These boys have been raised together since pups and love each other! Unfortunately, their previous owner had a life change that left them unable to provide these boys with the time they deserve. These handsome fellahs were said to be kennel trained, but they may need reminders on pottytraining. They were described as being outgoing, friendly and affetionate, and they ride well in the car! These boys do have some naughty habits, such as jumping on people and counters and over fences. Make sure you have them secured by a tie out, leash or covered run if leaving them outside unsupervised! They have also been known to dig and chew, so they would love some physical and mental stimulation to keep to occupied. Make sure they have access to plenty of appropriate chews to stimulate their chewing instinct! Each of these big guys would highly benefit from a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to help them learn some manners. They already know some basic commands, such as sit, down, and off! They were said to do well with kids, dogs and even cats! Sampson came to the shelter in need of cleaning, so he will have a dental done prior to being available, courtesy of our amazing Shelter Fund!
