Hey everyone, let me introduce myself. My name is Sampson and I am about 6 years old. I had a rough life up until now. I am very shy at first and sometimes it takes me a short bit to trust people. If you’re slow and steady with me I warm up to you. I like to be petted AND I have the softest fur!!! Here is a hint to help me not be afraid... treats, treats, treats!



I LOVE having a comfy bed to sleep on and get so excited when people I trust come around me. I can do tricks like spins in circles and I sing too! I like snuggling with other dogs and I am working more on snuggling with humans. When I came into the rescue, I had Heartworms and couldn't go out and play. After my treatment was done and I no longer had those nasty worms, I finally got to go outside and play! My foster parents are amazing, they take me to the park where I can and run and play with my other dog friends.



I am so much better with potty training and have had a few accidents but they are getting less and less frequent. At first I would need a belly band just to remind me and you to go outside. I am now crate trained which is my safe place. But let me tell you, when the sun comes up I make sure you aren’t late for work, or more importantly, to feed me breakfast! I am finally ready for my forever home, won't you give me a chance at love and a furever home?
