If you're looking for a dog who loves hanging out on the couch as much as they love playing outside, look no further than Sammy Jo! This big guy loves going for walks and spending lots of time with people. Sammy did wonderful in his temporary foster home. He was welcoming to everyone in the home. Men and women, so well as kids aged 12-17. He knows basic commands (sit, down, come), does very well being kenneled, and is house trained, he also has great house manners. . Sammy Jo is about 90 pounds at a little over 2 years old. He is a wonderful dog!

All dogs are spayed or neutered, microchipped, Heartworm tested, and current on vaccinations and preventions prior to adoption.

At the time of adoption all dogs are signed up with a unique Safe Paws QR pet ID tag, the adopter is required to maintain a monthly membership of $2.99/month for (at minimum) the first year. This helps insure your new furry family member makes his way back to you if lost. Leashes and collars are also required at the time of adoption. You are welcome to bring your own, or we have plenty to chose from at the shelter as well.

Our shelter is located at 10312 East 63rd Street in Raytown, MO. We are open to meet pets Tuesday through Friday from 10-6, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10-5. We are closed on Mondays.
