Meet Sammy

Sammy is an 18 months old, male, blue Pit Bull with white markings on his chest and toes. Sammy wondered up to his fosters door in pain From what we believe to be a chemical burn, hungry and scared. Sammy immediately underwent surgery to remove dead skin and infection to allow for heathy skin to regenerate. After nearly 3 months he has recovered, has been neutered, vaccinated and is ready for adoption. Sammy has been attending dog obedience classes, behaves great on a leash, accepts the presence of friendly dogs and handlers during classes, sits on command, stays and downs. He is an active young dog who needs daily exercise. I believe as he adjusts to being neutered he will do well with a dog of equal temperament and energy. Sammy shows no aggression towards adjacent dogs in the yard and does not fence fight. Sammy does best with dogs that are very engaging and can match his energy.
